Poker is a card game that involves betting during each round. After each hand, the remaining players show their cards and the player with the highest ranked hand wins the pot (all the chips that were bet during that round). There are multiple variations of this game including Hold\u2019em, Omaha, Stud, Draw, and more.<\/p>\n

To begin the game, each player puts up some money by calling or raising. This is known as the ante. Then each player is dealt two cards and the community cards are revealed in stages. The first stage is called the flop and it contains three of the five community cards which are visible to all players. During this phase players may choose to call, raise or fold.<\/p>\n
